Well, hello from me.
Now here is my problem:
Today, my parts from EKWB arrived and I took my GPU out of the case to install the waterblock on it. I then installed the radiator and the pump and connected the fans to the 3in1 connector and connected that one to the corresponding sysfan2 header on the Mobo.
I connected the pump to the pump/sysfan1 header to the Mobo and to the molex connector provided by the power supply.
I put everything back into the case, plugged the power supply into an outlet and filled the loop with destilled water and the concentrate from EKWB.
During this process, I repeatedly turned the system on (with the power button, not shorting the corresponding pins on the Mobo) and turned it back off using the switch on the power supply, not holding the power button. During this, every other component such as hard drive, SSD, CPU and RAM were installed. I did not disconnect the CPU power nor the motherboard power.
Now here comes the problem:
After everything was done and filled up, I plugged every cable back in (USB keyboard, network cable, headphones and monitors) and pressed the power button. System won't post. On the motherboard the EZdebug LEDs for the CPU and the DRAM are lit up.
I had this problem awhile ago after I cleaned my system and the cooler wasn't seated properly. This time however, I didn't touch the CPU cooler nor anything else other than the GPU I took out to install the waterblock obviously.
My specs are:
CPU: RYZEN 7 1700
RAM: Ballistix Sport 2x8GB 2133MHz
Mobo: MSI X370 SLI Plus
Power supply: Corsair TX850M
GPU: Gainward GeForce GTX 1080 Phoenix GLH (now on water)
Case: Corsair Carbide 270R
and the stuff for the water cooling loop obviously which are
LC solution Coolstream SE 360mm
EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM pump and reservoir combo
EK-FC1080 GTX Jetstream (no backplate)
What I did so far:
1. Reseat the cooler
2.Reattach the CPU power cable on the Mobo side
3. Reattach the Mobo power cable on the Mobo side
4. Reseat every RAM module in every RAM slot and tried posting with only one stick
5. Disconnect the PWM pump cable from the mobo and tried posting
6. Posting with no CPU cooler on the CPU
7. Clearing the CMOS since the overclock may had some how gone bad
8. Drinking halve a bottle of Captain Morgan and hoping to find any solution that way
9. Posting the system with no RAM installed
During the installation and the topping up of the loop no water was spilled. The thermal paste of the CPU never touched anything other than the CPU and the cooler.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you already
Sincerely and respectfully
