Specs:

Windows 10 Pro (64)
Asus Rog Crosshair VI Hero (6201)
Ryzen 7 1800x OC 4.0ghz
Asus Rog GTX 1080
G.Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4 3200
960 EVO M.2 500g

This is a personal build of mine with a fresh install of Windows.

All drivers are downloaded and updated through the manufacturers websites.

Windows is fully updated.

The system is running excellent with zero issues. I'm able to overclock everything through the MB Bios and running excellent results with all the test benches.

The question is. Why is Windows 10 showing in the device manager that the Ryzen 1800x is operating with;

Driver details:
Microsoft
4/21/2009
version: 10.0.17134.1

The odd part is when I download and install the AMD Ryzen chipset drivers (from manufactures website) it seems to only install a driver for Radeon graphics card only. As i have a GTX 1080 this doesnt make sense.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. It installs. But the driver version remains the same (Microsoft driver from year 2009)
