I bought a 2700 (non-x) version I tried to overclock using ryzen master but as soon as I even up the clocks from 3.4Ghz to about 3.6Ghz all my monitors shut off and I have to hard reset so I can get back to windows again, I don’t know what I can be, either voltage, temps or something else, any pro overclockers that know this?

Temps:
They are usually less than 50C without Overclock

Specs:

Ryzen 7 2700
B450 VDH- Pro Max
Rtx 2080
16gb Gskill rgb 3600mhz ram
600w Evga psu
3 case fans in the front, one in the back

I feel like it could be the power supply too but my gpu is already OC +100mhz in core and memory

If you'r also overclocking your GPU, 600W is on the limit, 650W is recommended.

How old is your PSU?
Brand new, thinking on returning it, I also noticed that my 100mhz oc is not stable and itñs giving me black spots on games. Fortunately, I lowered the OC to 80 and problem fixed, the CPU OC still doesn't work after changing the voltages.

Also for CPU OC you need a good motherboard. I coudn't find info on your motherboard but from the pictures it doesn't see to have VRMs good for overclocking. The more phases the VRM has the better. Mine is 16 power phases and can OC a 3950X. For 8 cores you just need 8 phases.
