Ryzen 7 2700 or i5 9600k? With rtx 2070

Is it worth the extra money? For the i5 or would the ryzen 7 do? Because its going to be for gaming and 8 cores sounds promising

I'd get the 2700, more cores & threads and depending on the resolution the FPS difference may be minimal. Plus with the AM4 socket you'll have a better upgrade path over the Z390 as AMD is using that socket until 2020.
