Question Ryzen 7 2700 paired with an RX 480 8GB ROG STRIX Bottleneck?

I'm going to change my old rig except my gpu, my specs were i5 4460, 16gb RAM 1600mhz DDR3, Mobo Gigabyte something, and an RX 480 8GB ROG Strix.


My new one:
AMD R7 2700
MOBO B450 Aorus Elite AM4 ATX
2x8 ADATA XPG 3000MHZ DDR4
PSU GIGABYTE GP-B700H 700W 80+ BRONZE
CASE DEEPCOOL MATREXX 50
SSD 120 GB ADDLINK

Nope , great setup , the 2700 can easily handle a 480.

Yep. That's a solid pairing. A 1600 wouldn't bottleneck a 480. I'd choose a different mobo though. The pre 500 series gigabyte boards (with a few exceptions) have pretty dreadful power delivery. This doesn't really matter that much for any of the 6 cores or the 3000 8 cores but the 1000 and 2000 8 cores draw quite a bit of current. The non x 2700 isn't too bad in this regard unless you overclock (which you should) but given the options on AM4 for CPU's, and the considerable discount's the CPU's get as they age, I'd be looking for a board that will support a more powerful CPU down the road. I've owned somewhere around 30 AM4 boards at one time or another so I'm very familiar with this topic. I find this spreadsheet extremely valuable for assessing AM4 power delivery:
