Question Ryzen 7 2700X Build Advice?

So, I'm thinking about building another gaming computer, and this time I was thinking about using a Ryzen 7 2700X with a budget of about $1,000. But please feel free to post any build and/or parts you wish if you think it would be more bang for the buck. I'm currently looking at about these specs:

Case: Unsure (Corsair and NZXT look great, but I was really impressed by this case because it comes with so many fans?)
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X?
GPU: GTX 1660, 1660 Ti, or RTX 2060?
RAM: 16-32GB DDR4 (What speed?)
PSU: At least 80+ Gold
Motherboard: Anything decent with plenty of fan headers?

What RAM speeds should I go for? I read that RAM with a lower CAS latency can actually perform faster than higher clocked RAM in some cases, so I'm not sure what to choose at this point. Also, what would be a good cooler for this CPU, or CPUs with a similar benchmark? As always, any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

There are faster 14 cas latency kits out there but they are going to cost you an extra $100. I understand if you deem the extra cost unjustifiable, I just wanted you to know your options.

I'm still looking for a monitor that is at least 1080P 144Hz. I read that Nvidia cards now support FreeSync monitors, so I'd rather go that route since they're not nearly as expensive. I was thinking of getting a 27" screen. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, what NVMe drive do you guys recommend? I found this one, which is about half the cost of a Samsung, and it still has the same warranty (5 years) and 1,200TBW for the 1TB drives:

And what HDD do you guys recommend? I was thinking of getting a 4TB 7,200RPM for storage, but I was hoping for at least a 5-year warranty on this as well. Most seem to have 2-3 years. Again, any ideas? And thank you for the help!

As for 4TB HDD's, I haven't researched HDD's recently so I have no opinion there.
My advice is find a few in your price range and read reviews of them.
I'd give the same advice concerning monitors.

@DMAN999 I've honestly done a lot of research, and benchmarks are usually what I look at for just about anything (as it's a more factual format I would think), but even they seem to give such varying results between websites that I'm not sure which to trust. For example, PassMark has hard drive benchmarks (https://www.harddrivebenchmark.net/high_end_drives.html), and that addlink drive I listed is literally #1 on that list. Can that website be trusted, or should I look elsewhere? Thanks!

I would NOT just look at benchmarks when looking for an SSD or HDD or any hardware for that matter.
Read reviews at sites like this one (Tom's Hardware), TechPowerUp, AnandTech, Tweaktown, etc., etc. They will give you info on the drives performance, quality and expected lifespan vs. just performance.
