I recently upgraded to the Ryzen 7 2700X and decided to benchmark my system using the Time Spy benchmark on the 3DMark software.

I received a CPU score of 8268 which is almost a thousand point less than I read that it should be. is this any reason to be concerned? how do I get obtain the maximum performance from my CPU?

Thanks in advance,

Solution
Ram speed? Opened apps in background?(when i did passmark it did affect by 100-200 points, but thats margain of error) That all affects benchmarking, but in real world perfomance, almost not noticable.
