Hello, I recently built a completely new PC.

Here are the specs:
Case: COOLER MASTER CHASSIS MASTERBOX Q300L
PSU: AKASA PSU 850W Cobra
Mobo: B450M PRO4
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X (20MB Cache, 3.7GHz Turbo 4.3GHz) Boxed with Cooler Socket AM4
RAM: DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32GB (2x16GB) 2666MHz CL16 1.2V
SSD: MZ-V7E1T0BW - Samsung 970 EVO 1TB
GPU: 1070TI

We have tried everything we could think of.

1. Same mobo different CPU 1700x. The setup worked, we did update BIOS. And change to 2700x but it did not work.
2. 2700X CPU and different mobo with another chipset type. Also with another ram.
3. Seems that everything we try works with the 1700x CPU
4. We even tried different Ryzen 7 2700X processor. So now I have 2 of these processors. :D

The pc just keeps restarting (reboot loop) and I also have the speaker attached to the mobo. But no sound signal at all.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I'm all out of ideas.

I might be your speaker that is causing the problem. Try unplugging it and then try to start your pc again. Speakers had a problem with me., and if it doesn't work, change a graphics card. Maybe it is because your graphics card is broken or something like that. That could be the reason your pc won't start since 2700x it doesn't have an integrated graphics.

As stated before, it does work with 1700x processor.

Try a higher wattage power supply as you see according to pcpartpicker, 2700x uses more power than 1700x. but 850 watts should be enough. BTW, I have a 2700x myself and it worked perfectly fine with a 650w

I did not find the correct PSU from this site, but power consumption is far less than 400w. So it should be fine. :/
