So my cpu is always sat between 50-60 degrees mainly towards 60 when idle/just on desktop. When gaming its normally 70-80ish but it sometimes spikes and I've seen it hit 94 degrees before. Taking the side panel doesn't seem to make a difference and i have 4 fans.

I currently have PBO disabled and messed with the power plans but it doesn't make a difference.

I'm currently using the stock cooler the Wraith Prism is it a case of getting a 3rd party one?

AMD's air coolers are adequate but not the best coolers for the CPU. You might want to consider another cooler for your system.

On a side note, while the MSi board you have is perfectly fine for the 3700x, do not expect to use any 105-watt AMD CPU with it. All of the MSi MPG motherboards have deficient power supply stages (i.e. VRMs) designs that overheat. Good X570 boards run about 50-60 degrees C and the MSi MPG boards hit 100+ degrees, way too hot...
