[SOLVED] Ryzen 7 3700X High temepratures ?

When i am playing csgo my Ryzen 7 3700X is Hitting 80 C
Is it normal to have 4.2ghz idle ? If not can i somehow disable it ?

Those temps don't sound high to me at all. You should be totally fine.

And can i ask why my CPU is running at 4.2ghz all the time even when idle ?

So your CPU is running at 1.4v at idle. This is a known issue with new ryzen.

You should try updating the BIOS on the motherboard and going back to CPUID when you are sure the system is at idle and checking the voltage again.

Overall though, your CPU is fine.

Already updated .. Still have the issue

You can either manually undervolt it or you could just let it go because your CPU is going to be fine.
