According to a new Geekbench 5 benchmark, AMD's upcoming Ryzen 7 5700X performs surprisingly well, with just a 2% performance deficit compared to the more power-hungry 5800X.

Or, maybe the process is a bit more refined? Better binning? Just kind of guessing here.
