Discussion Ryzen 7 5800x3d or Ryzen 9 5900X, whats your opinion?

What's your opinion? (and for my own question, what would be better for DCS even tho I design things and sometimes do UE5?)

If you're just getting it mostly for gaming, go with the 5800X3D. DCS itself doesn't really utilize multi-core efficiently anyway, so you'll want to prioritize your GPU choice for this game.
I like doing blender and stuff (UE5 etc) in my freetime too, so I'm not 100% sure on which one to get. Thanks for advice & tip tho!

If that's the case, then go with the 5900X, the extra cores provides a bit more performance boost in certain rendering tasks. Though if you can wait less than a month you can go with AMD's new 7000 Ryzen CPU's which are rumored to provide a 15-30% boost in some areas from the 5000 series.

I thought of getting a 7000, but I already bought B550-F motherboard so I'll probaly not get a 7000.
