Question Ryzen 7 7700x Overheating

Hi. I am using Ryzen 7 7700x. My question and problem is this processor has over heating

Setup:

(Asus Rog Strix RTX 4080, Seasonic 850wPSU, Asus Tuf gaming B650M-Plus motherboard, and Ryzen 7 7700x with MSI CORELIQUID 360R v2 water cooling)

I am really suspicious about this processor because it goes 95+ degrees while I am playing. I searched this and found some kind of undervolt thing (I am not sure). I changed the pbo and throttle limit to 85. Its now max 74 degrees.

But also, I am not sure about changing these things because I think I lose my processor's performance while doing that.

Can someone please help me about this

Thank you

Dumb question. Did you remove the plastic protector from the bottom of the cooler when you installed it? I ask because when I was putting an i5 12600kf system together a week or two ago it would heat up like that during stress tests and come to find out I’d forgetten to do that. Once I did the temps dropped about 30 degrees.

Ofc I did

I have the same cpu. All the 7000 series run hot, in fact at stock, they are designed to run at 95. Like most people, when i made the jump from AM4 to AM5, i was still dubious about the temps. However, like you have done, you can mess with the settings in BIOS to lower the temps but with the video I post, you can lower the temps without losing any performance and in fact, you can make some gains. But I will say, unless you are confident in doing it, I wouldnt mess around too much in the BIOS settings.

Is AIO pump working? Can you feel the pump vibration? Does one tube get warmer than the other?

My 7900x barely hits 70°c while gaming, on air. I do not have PBO enabled, though.
