Ryzen 7 fan on Ryzen 5 heatsink

Hi there,
I've been running a great Ryzen 5 1600 build, however I really like the LED fan from the 1700. If I were to acquire the fan from the 1700 could I screw it in the heatsink of the Ryzen 5? Don't want to bother removing the heatsink.
Tldr: Are the measurements from the Ryzen 7 fan the same as the one from the Ryzen 5?

I would recommend swapping the entire unit rather than kludge it. Why risk overheating your CPU with a kludge.
