Properly attach a CPU cooler with fresh thermal paste.Just wondering if there is a solution
I have reatatched the wraith cooler and applied fresh thermal paste yet the CPU is still at extreme temperaturesProperly attach a CPU cooler with fresh thermal paste.
Good catch.Does the CPu cooler you used looks like this: https://www.amd.com/system/files/102426-pinnacle-wraith-spire-led-cooler-1260x709.jpg?
If youre using the old R3 1200 cooler it wont be enough for that new Ryzen 7 2700!
I havent overclocked yet but the temps are skyrocketing. I'll make sure to look into a new cooler but I didnt expect the temps to be that high on the stock oneYou may want to look into a better cooler as I've heard many people saying bad things about stock wraith coolers. Are you overclocking? Stock wraith coolers are generally not powerful enough for overclocking so if you are you definitely need a better one. Something like the Noctua NH-D15 or the Dark Rock Pro 4 would be good options.
