Ryzen 7: X370 platform: which ones are reliable?

I've been reading up on Asus & Gigabyte forums trying to ascertain which mb seems to have the fewest issues and it seems most of the x370 (maybe B250 as well?) mbs are running into Bios issues.

I value reliability and customer service most of all, thus my understanding is that I should focus on those 2 manufacturers.

Anyone care to chime in on their Ryzen builds?
What mb/ram combos you're using and if/what type of issues you've come across?

- I'm not in a huge rush and may wait until the dust settles, but just wanted to get a feel on where we're at, since I'm interested in a Ryzen 7 build.

They all had UEFI/BIOS issues at launch (as almost any new platform does), but with updates, have started to settle down. Don't get me wrong though, bug issues are still being worked through and will be for some time yet.....but the issues are starting to get smaller and more focused on fine-tuning performance.

That said, most manufacturers make a range of board quality and almost all make a very good 'top' board. I've liked this one in particular after having a few on hand:

But of course Asus and Gigabyte make a good board too.

I started with a Gigabyte AB350m Gaming 3 motherboard, I had a complete nightmare with it from day 1, on about day 5 I contacted Gigabyte and every other day they were sending me beta F3 bios updates, which I was trying out, some allowed me to run my RAM at 2933mhz, others would only let me run it at 2133mhz, I was pulling my hair out with it, until one day they sent me F4 bios, final release and it killed my ram, bye bye gigabyte board, went back to the shop, id had enough of it.

So I brought an MSI B350m Mortar motherboard, had it shipped to the UK from Germany, and you would expect them to be the same, but nope, this one was completely different, I updated the bios as soon as I finished building my system, installed windows and my software at default bios settings and began to overclock, my ram which I RMA'd after the Gigabyte board killed it, new set arrived the same day as the new MSI board, upon overclocking, ram shot straight to 3200mhz with just a few voltage tweaks here and there and the CPU to 3.9ghz, 1.375v.

Im running 16gb G.skill Trident Z RGB 3200mhz CL16 with an R7 1700 @ 3.9ghz, been rock solid ever since, just finished all my stress testing last night.

I'm glad you've had good luck with the MSI B350m Mortar mb.
Although I'm leaning more towards a full sized mb.

Anyone else have any insights?
I wouldn't consider myself as savy as many of you when it comes to trouble shooting mb issues, although I have done bios updates on my current gigabyte board without issues.

I sent back the biostar x370gt7 I had after I RMAd the 1st one for a bad bios (the backup bios was fine but I didn't want to keep a brand new mobo with 1 of 2 bios's already dead) and the replacement arrived DOA.

NOW I'm leaning towards the x370 ASRock Killer Sli Ac which has amazing phase power design and features including wireless and Bluetooth for $145, or the Asus Prime X370 Pro... At $159.. It lacks some of the features of the ASRock board but has gotten good consumer feedback for smooth operation out of the box, and decent ram support.
