Question Ryzen 7640HS for laptop gaming ?

Hi Peeps,

Been looking to get a new Lenovo LOQ laptop. I have been looking online for information regarding the Ryzen 7640HS which is the newest AMD laptop CPU, but it is hard to find.
How would it compete compared to Intel? The price is the same for Intel and AMD, but the Intel one is the
i5-13500H which has 4P/8E cores, the Ryzen is 6C/12T.

Would it perform better than the I5 in CPU heavy games?

Based on the data from https://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Ryzen-7-7840HS-Processor-Benchmarks-and-Specs.680876.0.html and https://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core-i5-13500H-Processor-Benchmarks-and-Specs.677507.0.html, and using a basic scaler on the performance of the Ryzen 7 to guess what the Ryzen 5 would get ( [score] * [6 cores / 8 cores] * [4.3Ghz / 3.8Ghz], though single threaded test is just [score] * [5.1/5.0]), it looks likely that the Ryzen 5 would perform better overall.

But honestly, I'd wait for reviews to come out.
