That's great temperature for Zen3 specially for 12 core, Zen3 is allowed much higher temps than previous Ryzen CPUs, even at 80c+ they don't loose boost

hello.

i have issue with my Ryzen 9 5900X reaching 84C peak on 1080P Call of duty cold war
also in other games the cpu get pretty hot 77-80C cinebetch r23 the cpu stay pretty acceptable temps of 64-72C somehow im also getting poor score in of 20600 pts while all core are boost to only 4150 mhz
this temps are normal ? its sounds to hot for me for a cpu im also have pretty good airflow and 240mm aio and cpu is on stock settings which is really anooying to get 84C on stock cpu setting

(ambient temp 20C) (Brand new PC)

Case:Corsair 465X

Case fans: 3 front intake 1 in the back exhaust all set to max rpm of 1700

Cpu cooler:Corsair H100X top mounted exhaust

motherboard:Asus rog strix B550-F gaming wifi

Gpu: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW ULTRA GAMING

turn off all the stalk turbo feature in your bios

Nothing unusual for Zen3 processors, they are allowed much higher temps than previous Ryzen without loosing boost speed.
On the other hand, 5900x needs at least 360 0r 480 AIO, 240 is barely coping with 3700x. By barely I mean up to 70c for best auto boost performance.
PS:
Main reason for heat is high voltage which some BIOS versions allow to be too high. You can control it by setting negative voltage offset, typically -0.05 to -0.1V whatever works best
