[SOLVED] Ryzen 9 with h100i platinum, high temps

I built my first PC a couple weeks ago and I have noticed high temps. These temps are only with microsoft edge open, and it spikes up to 65 degrees just when I open a new tab. Under load, it can go up to around 80-85 degrees. Am I just worrying too much or are these temps really high? I haven't done any CPU overclocking and DOCP is on.

80-85 is fine. Third gen Ryzen can go up to 95C without throttling.

I understand, and make sure to post here again if your CPU reaches thermal limit (95C).

Actually that is high although still in the safe limit it will limit your boost speed with a temp higher than 75C.

Did you install Icue and set the pump to extreme?

I have Icue but the pump was set to balanced. I'll try out extreme and see what happens

You also have the ability to have fan controls.
Try the fans on balanced as the cpu temps warm up the fan rpms will increase.
You can also set a custom curve.

Also know that the temp you see in Iccue shows the water temp not the cpu tempwhen looking in the pump section.

Yeah, the fans are set to balanced and the water temps seem fine, the highest I've seen them go was 33.
