Question Best BIOS and Windows settings for Ryzen 9950X3D ?

So i mainly want the best and semi stable performance out of my cpu for cpu intensive games especially strategy and rts games. I have pbo on enabled and expo 2 enabled woth my ram set to 6000mhz. I read some things about disabling hyper z, svm, and core isolation, but what else? And should i listen to that information regarding hyper z svm, and core isolation?

Perhaps look into undervolting to lower your temps but apart from that I think you're good as is. Speaking of temps, what are you using to cool your processor and what sort of temps are you seeing when the system is taxed? What is the make and model of your motherboard? What BIOS version are you currently on for said motherboard?

I just added the bios version and mobo to my description.

Curve optimiser, set to -30, test. If it works.. is stable then all good otherwise reduce the undervolt and test again.. repeat until stable.

PBO, set motherboard power as the limits.
Set the processor speed override to + 200

Then see that it makes little real world difference. The CPU is really quick at stock settings.

The curve optimiser undervolt is the useful one, it reduces heat and power draw. PBO may/will need to be enabled to access curve optimiser.
If you have the time and or patience you could play with “curve shaper”. This will give you a more granular way of implementing the undervolt.
Find Scatterbench on YouTube, the guy explains things well.

Thanks man. I have the default pbo settings enabled or maybe that is the expo 2 settings not even sure. Ill have to try those settings you guys mentioned. I mean it runs regardless, but if i could get same results with less heat by tuning then great! And im assuming those other 3 options i read about that i mentioned (disabling svm, core isolation, and hyper v) dont bother touching?

Gigabyte/Aorus implemented something similar, disabling one ccd completely and disabling smt.

Some games tested by Hardware unboxed showed an improvement, others showed a regression. It could only be accessed through BIOS so changing from the “turbo” mode to normal running meant a full reboot. Inconvenient at best…

im really illiterate when it comes to overclocking and all the bios stuff. is leaving pbo on "enabled" fine to do without messing with anything you suggested ? also i have CPPC set to driver. this is best yea? i got latest chipset driver installed.
