Hi.. Below is the config of a ryzen gaming + light video editing pc im trying to build. is this build going to give 60+ fps at 1080p for the next 2 years on AAA games, and should i make any changes to the build??

also i have a vs 650 so no psu is included in the parts in the link.

I wouldn't have a PC without an SSD. I don't have NVMe in my current build, but the next one will.

Adding RAM, even the same exact part number can be hit-or-miss. The most stable implementation is a matched SET of DIMMs. The manufacturer has tested them together. Ryzen builds and memory are still finicky. It should get better over time...


the reason why i opted for 1 8gb vs 2X4gb is so that i can add another 8gb in the future.
And for only gaming and light video work is ssd essential?? load times and boot up times are not much of a factor for me.

Ryzen builds and memory are still finicky. It should get better over time. Today, the most trouble-free build will be memory that is on the motherboard qualified list and a matched set.
Video work will want 16GB RAM any way and will benefit from the extra memory bandwidth. Get a matched set to start with.
