Ryzen build help

Well, I want to upgrade to ryzen. I currently have an fm2+ motherboard and an amd A10 Apu with 16gbs ddr3. I want to know if its just the motherboard, ram and cpu that I need to change or will I need a new ssd and HDD and OS. Basically a new computer.

You'll need the ram, cpu, board as you mentioned. The hard drives/ssds will be reusable, your os is reusable if windows 10 will need to be reinstalled however.
Edit: Ryzen DOES NOT have any form of onboard video you MUST have a video card to use it. Just making sure you know this since you are coming from an apu

I also have a GTX 960 2gb gaming MSI Gpu, Sorry forgot to mention that. So my OS and drives will be able to be reused? Would I need to format them/or remove all the current data.

The os drive yes, you'll want to do a fresh install. The other one can stay as is.
