My computer is not booting I have a ryzen 5 1600, Asus Prime b350-Plus, EVGA 1050ti, EVGA 80+ Bronze certified 600w PSU, and GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB RAM. My mouse and keyboard are not getting power and all the cables are plugged in as I re-seated all of them several times. The LEDS on the motherboard are on and all the fans are spinning but it won't POST and I am not sure what is the problem. I bought all these items off of Amazon so if I need to return them I can. If it is as simple as a dead part I am going to be sort of mad.

If you have 2 sticks of RAM pull one and test then swap it out for the other and test. If you have another video card swap it out. Unplug all drives and just try to get bios at first. If just the motherboard, CPU, and one ram stick doesn't boot take out the CPU. Check the CPU for bent pins.

I have reseated the 8 pin cpu power cable several times and I am using a DVI cable plugged in from the 1050ti to the monitor.

I just took out the ram and reseated it in the correct slots switched it out to only using 1 stick swapped those out unplugged the hard drives and did that again it never booted in it at all. My mouse and keyboard still have not gotten power at all. I also took out the CPU and checked the pins. None of them appeared to be bent and when I put it back in it still didnt work, Any other ideas?

Could you take a picture of the inside of your PC? Could be your motherboard is grounding on the case. Try taking the motherboard out and place it on the motherboard box and plug everything up. This makes sure the motherboard isn't grounding on anything. Also check the PSU on the back of the case and see if it has a power switch. Try flipping it one way to test then the other. The switch may be iffy. Also try removing the motherboard battery for 5min's while its unplugged to reset the bios.

Are you using the absolute top 2 USB ports for keyboard/mouse ??

These are the singular 2 usb2 ports on the board.

At the minute it does sound like ram incompatibility unfortunately.

Do you have a case speaker ?? Any beep error codes if so ??

Slim chance but that's not an old dvi-a cable ??

What's your monitor model ??

I can't as my camera on my phone does not work, but I tried it outside of the case and nothing happened. I also tried taking out the battery but that didnt change anything either. And as I had said in my original post, the LEDs and the fans are all spinning so I don't think that is has anything to do with the power supply.

I was using the USB 2.0 ports yeah, I did try the others for sh*ts and giggles but no luck. I have no case speaker so no luck there. And I got the DVI cable last fall from best buy and it has worked on other computers. I don't think its the problem... As for the monitor, I have tried it on a few being Asus, SAMSUNG, and Element but none have worked. I am however returning the ram tomorrow but I don't understand why the LEDs on my mouse and keyboard aren't working. The mobo LEDs are on and all the fans are spinning tho, I am not completely sure if that is the RAM but I do not know.
