Ryzen Compatibility Issues?

I am building a computer for Christmas and I want to make sure that everything is compatible with each other. I've heard that Ryzen is only compatible with certain types of RAM and I honestly have no idea what's true or false anymore. I found an AMD Ryzen RAM compatibility list but it was really confusing to follow. Also, I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered previously; I just need to know if my parts are compatible with each other.

Best thing to do is check the list provided by the motherboard manufacturer for RAM which has been tested to work with it. For reference: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20Pro4/index.asp#Memory

From what I can see, that RAM you chose isn't on the list. Furthermore, it would be better to choose a 2 x 4GB RAM kit rather than two 4 GB RAM sticks to avoid potential compatibility issues. Faster RAM too if affordable.

I assume you have a graphics card, hard drive and PSU ready to use.
