Hi, I recently installed a Ryzen CPU and was having issues with no monitor signal.

After doing a bunch of troubleshooting I came to the conclusion that it may just be a dead motherboard and two of my other friends who know a ton about computers think its probably the motherboard too.

However after trying to uninstall the processor it simply refuses to come out.

I lifted up the little lever and it just won't budge.

I THINK I installed it correctly; I lined up the visual indicators the board and processor has telling you which direction to install it, I put it on the socket and just had to gently nudge a little bit and it dropped right into place. Put the lever down with very little resistance.

A small amount of thermlapaste leaked over the side on one side but I doubt that tiny little amount could 'glue' the entire processor down from every side.

Any ideas? I'd like to see if I can check the pins to see if I messed them up but can't even get it out. I don't think I over-tightened the cpu cooler either but who knows
