hi guys,

i am trying to find a ryzen for an amd build, but the ryzen has to be either as good or better than the 11500. so far all i can find is the integrated graphics on the ryzen is very good compared to the 11500 which is what i am aiming for in a cpu but i also want the power too.

when comparing some ryzen to the 11500, the 11500 wins on the power side but the ryzen wins on the graphics.

does anyone know if there is such a cpu?

many thanks

The Ryzen 5400G will probably only be quad-core with SMT, which will make it nowhere near as fast as the i5 on the CPU side of things and you will have to step up to the 5600G for that.

Since the 5600G can be expected to be almost in the same performance ballpark as the 5600X for CPU performance with an IGP on top, I would not be surprised at all if it actually ended up more expensive than the 5600X.

Between the $300+ 5600G and a ~10% slower $200 11500, I'd take the 11500.

Another possible problem with AMD's 5000-series APUs based on previous models is that they may be limited to x8 for the GPU slot.

I think the 3400G is the closest for iGPU performance but the CPU performance isn't as good. Also its significantly more expensive then the 11500 per PCPer.

Is this for gaming?

Budget?
many thanks for that

i was going to get the 3400g but after comparing them 2 properly i have gone off the 3400g due to the power.

i am upgrading my mobo and cpu so thought i would see if i can get the best integrated graphics.

budget would be around the same price as the 11500 if i can.

just compared Ryzen 7 5700G and Ryzen 5 5600G but cant seem to find out much about the 5400g.

their integrated graphics are spot on but if only their power is better too.

many thanks guys but i guess i will be going for intel now.

the 11500 integrated graphic isnt that bad, i only wanted to get the best integrated graphic since i am upgrading.
