Question Ryzen Graphics Question

Folks, I haven't built a system in 6 or 7 years and they were all gaming rigs. I'm looking to build a basic, non-gaming system with on-board graphics. I don't want to have to buy a separate graphics card.

Given that, do I NEED to buy a Ryzen 5 chip with the 'G' designation? The motherboards I'm looking at all have HDMI/DP connectors, but do I NEED to buy a chip that specifically has On-Board graphics like the Ryzen G's to avoid the need for a card?

If so, would I be better off cost wise getting an Intel i5 with integrated graphics? I just need an internet/email/video machine.

You cannot use AMD Ryzen CPUS without a -g at the end without a GPU.

Your options are Intel CPUs or Ryzen-g.
They are both about the same for just basic usage.

Intel -f CPUs lack IGPU btw.

Yes, the only Ryzen CPUs with integrated graphics are the ones whose name ends in G.
