So I've just a day ago upgraded my rig to a r5 2600 with 3000MHz ram but in the task manager it says 1500MHz.
But when looking in the bios(with xmp enabled at 3000MHz) I noticed it said Memory Frequenzy: 3000(1500)
Does it mean it runs at 3000 but just shows as 1500 or how do I check what it runs at or (what should I do to make it run at correct speed)

Does it Only show half because of dual channel or ryzen or just because of the ddr?
My old rig showed it's correct speed
A 1x8gb hyperx fury 1600MHz
It showed as 1600MHz in taskmanager

Single or dual channel doesn't matter, it's all about how programs and OS interpret memory, some show base clock and some real memory frequency.
