Updated asrock ab350 pro to bios p4.7, still wont post with ryzen 5 2600

Because you can update the BIOS with other cpu, I guess the ryzen cpu may have problem, like the bent pin(s).

New build.

Asrock ab350 pro 4, bios ver 4.7

Ryzen 5, 2600

Evo potenza ddr4 2x4gb ram

700watt thermaltake psu

Toshiba 1tb hdd.

I usd a spare amd a6 9500 to upgrade bios from 4.6 to 4.7, 4.7 should be compatable with the r5 2600, but even with update, pc won't post.

So it works if you put in your a6? Try resetting CMOS and see if that helps at all. Also stupid question but you are using a gpu right?

Yeah, forgot to mention that i use a 1060. Still ive tried reseting cmos and nothing

Gpu seated properly, monitor plugged in the gpu not the mobo? Not much else I can think of

Its all good, just thinking of switching oit the 2600 for a 1700
