Ryzen RAM memory speed -DDR4(2x8gb) 3000Mhz vs 3200Mhz

Im looking to buy a Ryzen 5 2600 on a B450 mobo, I can find some 3000mhz kits around the same price as some 3200mhz kits.

  Im wondering is there a significant difference between the two apart from speed.
  What does the ram speed effect.

If they are both the same, why not just snag the higher frequency'ied kit? It effects teh performance of the platform in general. Ryzen likes faster ram speeds. It's been detailed here.

Its because the slower speed one is has white LED which would look better than the all black faster speed ram, I dont mind going with the faster ram but if theres not that much difference ill just pick the slower one because it fits better in my theme. thanks for the article ill read through it now.
