Yes. I read all the threads under this topic and tried out everything. Still no clue. I will break it down as points as easy

Running RYZEN 2600x with stock cooler, 600 W PSU

  • Idle temperature is 50 C in bios with just board and processor ( No case )
  • Idle temperature 50 C in Bios with Casing
  • Idle temperature 45 C in Windows Ryzen Master
  • Idle temperature 70 C after I play and close a game
  • Temperature cools down , if I disable "core performance boost" in BIOS but games are super laggy.
  • Surprisingly, temperature maxes to just 75C during stress test and gaming.

What I did so far
  • Re-seated heat sink 3 times
  • Installed Chipset drivers from AMD website
  • Switched to Windows balanced power system

Have you looked in the task manager to see what is running? I would run through that list with a search window open and make sure all your running processes and background tasks are supposed to be there.

Seems almost like you have a virus or something running in the background.

Task manager appears to be clean. I checked it. And any idea why BIOS temp is also extreme

If it's still under warranty I might suggest seeing about a return. Hard to say if the issue is with the CPU or the Motherboard (could be bad sensors)

If not, or of the possibility that you voided it with an overclock...
I would suggest getting a good quality aftermarket tower cooler and some good paste like Artic Silver (etc.). Would consider lapping the CPU and cooler, remount and see if the temps come down. If you have access to a "temp gun" might suggest checking with that to see if the temps are in line with what you are registering.

Beyond that, yeah, stumped too.

The processor is just 1 week old. I just done with the Installation. :( I already mailed AMD support on this. And I havenot over clocked it yet. The BIOS is still running in default setting

The first time I put the processor on the motherboard , started the board as is ( hard wired ), the bios already showed 51 C

EDIT : The motherboard temperature is also around 45 C

Would sent (them) back for exchange, no doubt.
Ok. One last question. Now I full reinstalled the CPU and started the machine with just board and Processor.

When I check bios the first time . The processor core temp is 53 C and Motherboard temperature is 41 C.

So which one needs to be sent back

Do you remember taking the plastic film off the bottom of the CPU cooler before installing it?
The stock cooler came with thermal paste pre-applied; you didn't clean this off did you?
- If you have some other cooler, which one and which thermal paste?

Does your case have fans and are they running? Where are they located and which direction are they blowing?
Is the case physically out in the open , like on a desk, or in a 'cabinet' part of a desk or in a closet?
