I have Ryzen 5 3600 and the idle temp is around 55c, temp during gaming is around 78c.
My question is, is this too high?
It has stock cooler that came with the cpu.
MB is Tomahawk 450 Max
Case is midtower atx
I have 2 intake fans and 3 exhaust fans.
No overclocking
I would like to upgrade the cpu cooler, any suggestions
would help. I would Like to keep price to $50 usd and below.
Been looking at the Vetroo v5, but open to suggestions
Thanks

No, it's not too high. Keep in mind Tjmax rating for the CPU is 95C so it's running well below the maximum temperature.

That's not saying it's great, maybe not even good, but then you're still using the 'stock' cooler which was only ever meant to be "just enough". Moving to a better cooler may help keep temps even lower. Running lower temps means the processor will perform even better because of the way it works.

The Vetroo V5 may be enough but also make sure your case is well ventilated. It's very common for tower CPU coolers to take in GPU exhaust which kills its cooling efficiency.
