[SOLVED] S Mode

I need a basic laptop for work/school that isn't $1,000. All the VivoBooks I find come with Windows 11 S Mode and it sounds like that will only allow me to use apps from the Windows store so I am worried about buying one of those. If I end up needing to use something that isn't from the Windows store I'm going to be out of luck?

This is the laptop I'm looking at, it says Windows 11 S Mode. I'm not entirely sure what Windows 11 S Mode is about.
