S-spec and stepping

I am about to buy a P3-800/100 Slot 1 from googlegear.com
I want to make sure and get the S-spec SL4KF and stepping Cc0.
The part on googlegear.com only has the Manufacturer SKU (BX80526H800256E).

Is there a way to tell which S-spec and stepping based on the SKU?

The 800E is a poor choice for performance (133MHz FSB) and a poor choice for overclocking (chances of reaching 133FSB less than 50%). The 700E is a far better choice (97% likelyhood of reaching at least 933@133FSB, 90% chance of reaching 980@140, 50% chance of reaching 1021@145).

800E performs well at a decent price.800Mhz is the minimum I would recomend.

FUGGER ARE YOU AN IDIOT OR DO YOU ENJOY GIVING OUT BAD ADVICE!?! The WORST PIII chipsets for price/performance and overclocking are (in order) the 1000E, 900E, 850E, 800E, and 750E, because NONE of these are likely to go to 133MHZ FSB! The 800EB is far better than the 800E if you don't want to overclock. If you do want to overclock, the 700E is the easiest choice, and the 650E is also good, because the 700E will easily overclock to at least 933 (at 133, 980 at 140), and the 650 will easily overclock to 866 at 133, 975 at 150. The 800E will only go to about 122FSB, if your lucky sometimes higher, but at a very slow bus speed with very highly overclocked (less stable) PCI speeds. The best alternatives to the 700 for overclocking are the 933 and 1GHz processors. The 800E performs sub par at stock clock (because it is at 100FSB), sub par at overclock (because it can't reach the next level, 133), and cost more than the better overclocking 700, performing worse than the similarly price 800EB

Basically, I have been seeing a lot of advise in this forum that is not of the best quality. The fact is that the 800EB performs much better than the 800E. The only two reasons to buy any E series are 1) you want to overclock to at least 133 or 2) your motherboard does not support the 100MHz FSB. No offense to the originator of this thread, I just thought Fugger should have come up with a better answer if he wanted to be giving out advise!
