So basically it's yet another game that uses "AI" to solve performance issues. Something tells me RTX 2000 series users are SOL.

It's at 4k max settings though with these benchmark numbers. Seems like theres alot of room to improve performance, like 1/4th the resolution and dial down from "max" to low or medium. 20 series is somewhere between 5-10 years old? About a console generation?

been waiting for a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R for almost 15 years now.

Shadow of Chenobyl is still one of my favorite games to run through every few years.
whether the base game, an overhaul version, or just with picking & choosing 20-30 single mods it's still got awesome mechanics and atmosphere even to this day.

what i've seen so far of Heart of Chernobyl looks pretty awesome.
hopefully Unreal Engine can really handle it while still keeping a similar RPG kind of play-style fun.

They may be aiming for native 4k at 60 fps on the RTX 5090.

I still like games that can scale down as low as possible. iGPUs, mobile pcs, old hardware (like the 10/20 series) and people with low budgets all would be thankful.

No, 52 FPS without upscaling and 123 FPS with upscaling.

it says dlss 3 frame generation witch accounts for the rough fps doubling the fps sould be higher if it was also dlss upscaling esp a setting like performance mode

It says 52 fps with DLSS3 off, and according to the fine print by DLSS3 they mean Super Resolution Performance Mode + FG.

thats odd maybe upscaling just doesnt do alot for this game

I expect that 5090 will be more than capable of handling this game at native 4K Ultra RT.

Newer titles on UE5 take a big toll on GPUs, even a 4090, 4K max settings is a bit overkill though. I’m sure the game will look spectacular even at high settings.

Looks like it's more CPU bound, look how there's little improvement among the top three GPUs.
