I'm reinstalling an old machine with Win2k, and I'm getting minor graphics corruptions, the occasional pixel jumping a few to the left at any resolution/colour depth/refresh combination above 640x480.
I've tried about 12 different drivers of different versions, for Win2k, NT4 or XP and no difference.
In VGA mode, if I up the resolution to 800x600 though, I don't get the problem.
I think this might possibly be a graphics memory hardware problem, but not sure.
The system has a Via chipset, the motherboard model number is MVP3C, chipset IDs are: VT82C598 and VT82C596.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I've tried reinstalling the machine, no difference. I don't think the problem was there under NT4, but this machine needs USB now.
