I have a graphics card called S3 Virge/GX2 made in Taiwan.
It has a yellow video out socket for T.V., a VGA socket and an S-video socket.

I can't work out what type of slot it fits into.
It won't fit into an AGP slot or a PCI E x16 slot, or a PCI E x1 slot or the normal PCI slots.

The gold colored insert starts about 7cm from the front of the card (where the video sockets are)
The first section is about 3-4cm long, then one gap and the second section is about 7-8cm long.
It is exactly the opposite dimensions as a normal PCI card.

.....gold strip-.l___l l___________l

Please, can Someone tell me what the name for this type of slot is.

The S3 was a good card in it's day (Better than the opposition).
It probably is a 1X AGP, I have a couple. I still use the PCI version when testing computers, it's easier than trying to find where I have put my spare AGP/PCI express card.
