S6 connection problem

S6 won't connect to my windows 7 computer but will connect to my son's - also windows 7
Cables ok
USB Ports ok
HELP !!!!! (please)

Try a different USB port. Does the device show up in Windows explorer or the device manager on your PC?

Ive tried different USB ports, with no effect.
However, it does appear when i plug it in, although with a yellow triangle / exclamation mark icon.

If it is showing up in device manager you know the PC detects it. It sounds like a driver issue.

You can try right clicking on the device and updating the driver in the device in device manager. You can also try uninstalling, unplugging, and re plugging in the phone to see if it installs the correct driver.
