I've just had this computer built, and had warned those who did so about the issue with Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb kits not running at 1600, and instead running at 667mhz 1333, and so forth.

I've seen multiple people saying it's an easy fix just going into Bios and editing the voltage and timings to 9-9-9-24, and 1.5v, etc.

I'll admit, I'm a bit of a noob, and I'm stuck at figuring out how to actually edit those timings, or the voltages in the Asus Bios, 0901 x64 I believe is the version. I saw DRAM timings which were set to auto, but not a setting for voltage.

Can anyone give me a few tips on how to get this ram running up to speed for my motherboard? I feel like it's possible, I'm just apprehensive against changing manual settings on a motherboard without really knowing how to do it.

Thanks!
