Sabertooth 990fx. Red CPU light, no POST

Hello and good Tuesday to you all,

I have a simple rig that has been running for just over a year now, and have run into the issue like a few other posts I have seen on here of the demon red CPU light and no POST,

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
AMD FX-8150
Silenx CPU fan
XFX Radeon 7870
Thermaltake 850W PSU

I left my PC for a few days and came back to it not booting.
First thing I did was check my connections, nothing is different, Checked the MoBo for any damage and could not find any so I pulled the XFX to see if maybe it was a problem and nothing.
I tried replacing the PSU, same result.
I pulled the CPU and Fan and re-installed them 3-pin into the CPUFAN1 connector as it has been for the last year, and still no change.

Anyone have any other ideas before I try and contact ASUS tech support?

I installed a new CPU today, still same result so I finally called ASUS and I am getting an RMA to send the unit in.

I know it might sound silly but remove the motherboard battery and disconnect it from the power supply then leave it standing for 10 minutes, replace everything and try again. 990FX motherboards are so temperamental, I wished I never bought into the whole thing as I have had no end of problems with my Ram and Graphics card.

Also, make sure your 8 pin connector is in securely. It's about 99% of cases for the problem.
