Hello,

Im kinda new to computer building. I am an extreme gamer but on a budget. I have been surfing the web and getting advise from friends while slowly learning more about how to properly build computers. All of my parts are compatible except the Mobo and the case. Ive been looking for the past few days but i cant find anything to confirm if they are compatible. I want to use the Asus Sabertooth X58 in the CM Storm Trooper case, but i cant tell if they will be compatible.

Sorry if i have made a thread to an already discussed topic.

The Sabertooth X58 does support USB 3.0 but it does NOT have the 20 pin header connector needed to connect the front panel USB 3.0 ports of the CM Storm Trooper case to the motherboard. The only way that you can connect those ports from the case to the motherboard would be to get a 20 pin to USB 3.0 port adapter and run it around to the back USB 3.0 ports. I'm not sure there is such a thing. I've seen a couple of adapters that convert the Motherboard USB 3.0 20 pin connector to dual USB 3.0 ports but not the other way around.

If the x58 is out dated, can u suggest a motherboard that can give me some overclocking room, triple sli, and try to keep this below $200? Dont really need triple sli, will settle with dual.

thx
