sableye if they had to use one?

Shadow Ball
Faint Attack
Confuse Ray
Moonlight/Recover (bred from Volbeat/Kadabra)

I used Sableye in my game, but I tend to avoid using TMs and such, so
that moveset doesn't count. Given unlimited resources, I suppose I'd go
for...

Shadow Ball (Level 41)
Dynamicpunch (Emerald Move Tutor)/Focus Punch (RuSa TM 01)/Seismic Toss
(FrLgE Move Tutor)
Recover (Breeding)
Double Team (RuSa TM 32)

Use Shadow Ball for the Same Type Attack Bonus and Dynamicpunch/Focus
Punch/Seismic Toss when up against Normal, Steel, and Dark types (all of
which resist Ghost types). I would've chose an elemental punch, but its
Physicals (at 75) are higher than its Specials (at 65). Recover and
Double Team have their obvious uses, but Double Team is especially
useful if you're going to use Focus Punch. Focus Punch has a high
attack power, but it fails if you get hit before launching it.
Dynamicpunch can confuse foes, but it lacks accuracy, while Seismic Toss
always does damage equal to your level.

A personal favorite move of mine it can learn is Snatch (RuSa TM 49),
which can steal stat-upgrade moves from foes. Quite handy if your
opponent is the type who buffs-up their Pokemon before attacking.
Psych-Up (Breeding or Emerald Move Tutor) is similar in that it copies
stat upgrades, but Snatch will pretty much prevent the opponent from
upgrading itself. The only problem is that Snatch will also swipe your
other Pokemon's upgrading moves in doubles matches.

And if you're breeding it with a Kadabra anyways, Psychic is a good thing to
have
while you wait to learn the other moves.

I got one and it has Hidden Power (Dragon) / Faint Attack / Psychic / Recover.

It'll have Shadow Ball as soon as I can learn it naturally.

I had wondered about maybe brick break,(if it will learn it, I prefer
the definite hit moves to the greater power but less accurate stuff like
hydro pump which always seem to miss when needed,) maybe coupled with
recover, shadow ball and faint attack. I'm really looking for a sixth
member for my party for mount battle etc, I've tended to get use to
having five useable pokemon and a spare I'm raising etc.

I think it learns Brick Break through TM, but I don't think it's all
that strong.

What are your other five Pokemon? Maybe there's some gap that the sixth
could fill.

Rayquaza-fly,outrage,rest,hyperbeam
Walrein-icebeam,rest,body slam,sheer cold
Blaizken-slash,sky uppercut,flamethrower,blaze kick
Kyogre-Water spout,ice beam,surf,rest
Raichu-Thunder wave thunderbolt,thunder,slam
They are all into the 90's level wise.
It's weak against electrics I know and water spout isn't really an attack
I use that much but I wanted to see what it was like. I've never really
thought about the battle tower stuff before and basically just going to
try the team that worked well against the league and have a fiddle after
I saw the deficiences. I don't tend to use tm's I think I've only used
theif in both sapphire and FR hence my total failure to remember the move
tutor at the museum.

A lot of pokes with Rest - that's a move that for me has been pretty useless
unless holding berry to wake up immediately...otherwise that wasted turn of
sleep/wakeup seems to cause more problems than Rest helps with.

Flamethrower, Sky Uppercut, Earthquake (TM), Rock Slide (bred from
Camerupt, mainly, plus FR/LG Move Tutor).
