Sabortooth 990FX red CPU led (was fine until I updated)

I have a new biuld, Asus Sabortooth 990FX, AMD FX 8150 (8-core), G.skill (4x8gb) F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL, XFX Double D Radeon HD 7850 2GB, Rocketfish 700W PSU

Everything was working fine until I put windows on and tried updating the BIOS and some drivers. I did an everyday restart after some updates, and the CPU led and bad memory led came on. I went to only one stick of ram and fix the memory led. I ran through this check list http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems . The problem only started after I updated the BIOS.

Tried resting the CMOS and replacing the battery; didn't help. Currently when i turn it on nothing appears on the monitor, tried using three different video cards. And at the moment I don't have the Hard drive connected.

Any tips or suggestions will be great!

Can u flash to the old BIOS?

Well, u don't update BIOS if u don't have a problem with HW.

Yea I should have just left it alone, but when I put the ASUS Updater on there I think it installed it, tho I could have selected not to.

If I remember correctly its SABERTOOTH 990FX BIOS 1304, If it's not that than its SABERTOOTH 990FX BIOS 1208.

and cant flash to old bios I dont get a POST, so no screen turns on for me, fans start up and CPU red led comes on.

When updating the bios use EZ Flash 2 on the ASUS boards.

Yes EZ Flash 2 is the best way to update the BIOS ^.

All updaters need to be uninstalled,they install and messed up often.

Its better to install by yourself, u wanna have the control.

Did u reset it this way?

Reset the CMOS memory the right way as is described in the motherboard manual using the clear CMOS link with the power cord unplugged.
And when the battery is out, press the power button to discharge all the electricity from the system.

Yup the exact video I looked at. Found where it was located in the MB manual and tried to reset it, didn't work. Tried 5 secs, 1 min, a few hours, and 24 hours. nothing.

also i been through http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems check list, helpful but didn't fix my problem.

Was your board set to defaults when you did the bios update?Was it overclocked?

i have the exact same problem but i go ta new bios chip and it still had the same problem but i didnt update the bios because it already came with the latest version
