So , I got my build 3 days back .
R5 1600
Asus B350F Strix
Trident Z F4-300C16D-16TZR
[Fresh installed windows , got latest drivers , bios and all.
Now , I wanted to OC , as I am using stock cooler , did not really want to push the cpu too high , so decided on modest 3.7Ghz with an offset of 0.0625v.
Now , when I used the D.O.C.P memory settings it set the timings on its own , and set the voltage to 1.35 v , but , i was not able to boot at all , boot loop and then POST to safe mode , bios and use default settings , the highest I could get with the DOCP settings was 2400mhz and sometimes 2666mhz as well , but 2666 failed to boot sometimes.
But, I wanted to go to 2933mhz , as my RAM was rated at 3000mhz. So , I decided to crank up the voltage to 1.37 , and that worked. No bootloops, even ran aida 64 stress test for 2 hours , no crash.
So , I just want to know is 1.37v on my ram safe? As , the tested voltage is 1.35.
Also , what are the max voltage that one can safely go to?

Solution

Yes that voltage is perfectly safe, ive seen plenty of people running the same ram at 1.4-1.45v on new RyZen systems, even AMD recommend to raise it a bit if you are having problems.

Also raise the CPU SoC voltage as this helps with ram stability a lot and getting your ram to run at the correct speeds, the voltage controls the uncore, the package around the cores, memory controller etc, set it to 1.100v in total, so if your working in offset mode just add +0.180v to the stock volatge which is around 0.900v, it might be listed in your bios as CPU NB voltage......never go higher than 1.15v - 1.20v in total for this voltage.

Solution

The Soc Voltage is set to 1.100 by default , so nothing to change there. But , just by bumping dram voltage helps me get stability , so i think i will just keep the other voltages as they are?

Yes just keep everything else as it is, if its stable, dont mess with it.
