Hi Carey:
If he has the second problem that I mentioned, checking /SAFEBOOT will
leave him in a Catch22.
He'll go around in circles since he can't complete going into Safe mode.
Let's hope that he has the 1st problem otherwise he'll need an XP CD
(Dell??) to do a Bootcfg /rebuild.
With no XP CD he then would need an MsDos boot floppy with editbini.exe
on it.
