Safe temp for Phenom X6 1100t?
Hello so my cpu is hitting 71c at 97% is that normal ?

it's not overclocked and I don't use the stock cooler I get about 67 while playing subnautica and 71 while rendering a video using Sony Vegas

then i would repaste with mx2 or mx4 they do not need cure since most user run on max of 60 c under load also do you have a good air flow in the case .

71c is right on the edge of unacceptable mate.
Dangerous ?? No , but I wouldn't want to be pushing those temps constantly.

What cooler are you using ?? Fairly certain its not quite good enough.

I'm using artic 7 pro rev 2 and I have some cooler master thermal paste on and my case has pretty good air flow

Yep mate , the freezer 7 is 'not quite good enough' as I suspected


Used those coolers years ago, nice & quiet , only good for 100w max loads really though.

Deepcool gammaxx 300 & 400
212 evo
Raijintek themis

All spring to mind as good fairly budget options , will knock 15c or so off your current load temps.

The deepcool are straight 5 minute swap jobs using the stock and brackets.

The evo & themis (like most 120mm towers) require backplate removal.
