Safe temps for Amd Dual Core?

Whats the termal limits of 2x 3800+? Im only hitting 40*C at most. But isnt the thermal limit in the 60s or 70s? Just woundering.

my 4800+ @ 2.82 runs at 50MAX with watercooling, i think up to 55 is safe, anymore then that can surely damage it.

What type of water cooling? I have an Opteron 175 with a $100 TT BigWater and it keeps my CPU below 43C at 2420MHz at 1.475volts...
BTW, 55C is safe as well as 60C.

My venice runs at 2800 Mhz (when it decides to be stable lol) and I hit 43C. When I look in my bios for minimum shut down temp on the CPU it lists 60C as the floor and goes up to 75C. So I would suspect you could hit ~60 without any problems. I get nervous when I hit above 45C.... haven't figured out why though lol.

The 1.625 VCore may not help the temps though....

custom, i built and desinged it myself. big rubbermaid tank, fish tank pump, $50 water block. no fans, no noise, at least from the cpu.

and i am running 1.6V
