Safe Temps For Athlon

If you have a 2200 Athlon, at what tempature, as red by the motherboard, do you get nervous at? Whats a good safe max.
 
I think 70c is the absolute highest that the processor will tolerate without dying. I always try to keep my temps well below 50c or so, but I think anything within the 50s is ok- anything above that would really start to worry me.

the actual threshold of the cpu itself is 85 to 90 celsius depending on the model. Would I run it near that tem? No. But that is the limit.

If the cpu keeps freezing or crashing, then its too hot.

Really, there is no other reliable way... the temp monitoring hardware and software is just to variable.

Around 65 C most CPUs get unstable... so I don't let it pass the 65 C unless I know the measured temp is fake.

My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole 😱
