They stopped making them a long time ago.Hi guys,
I am updating my PC for gaming and I need the amd fx 6350 CPU. Can't seem to find it anywhere new (chip shortage?)- is it safe to buy it refurbished from somewhere like ebay?
Thank you!
What will I need for good performances? They stopped making them a long time ago.
Refurbished no, used yes.
Don't expect good performance in modern games.
CPUs aren't typically refurbished, because refurbishment meant they were repaired. Aside from maybe a soldering a loose SMT part, you can't really fix a CPU if it's broken.Hi guys,

Price looks about right and the seller has a lot of sales and 99% positive feedback.Like is something like the one on ebay below legit?

Based on your other post, are you just looking at the system requirements for a game?
You don't have to follow that, get something newer and faster. You can easily get double the performance with any of the entry level Ryzen chips, even old ones.
