Is it safe to test if a 10 year old PCIe controller card works on a new motherboard without damaging anything?
The reason is that I want to test that cards specific T.I chipset, if it works along with the new motherboard, for a firewire device I still wanna use on my new build.
It have PCIe x1, and there are PCIe x1's on the Asus z370-a.
